Bird call in north central massachusetts, in a wooded area within a city. Sound is up in a tree. I suspect it is baby bird calling to a parent, and the softer response is from a different tree. There is a third bird, possibly unrelated.
I recorded this with my yamaha pocketrak at the paramount theater in seattle on feb. 29th, 2016 with one track duplication. This is the applause for stewart copeland and the seattle rock orchestra. Copeland scored the music for the silent version of 'ben hur' and the show was great as you can hear from the final applause. To create this sound, i created a sinusoid of 500 hz and an amplitude of 0. 8. I then multiplied the speed of 0. 750. To get this final sound is to duplicate the sinusoid several times.
